Passenger Rights and Responsibilities

Dear Passengers;

• Upon handing in your personel luggage before getting on the bus please make sure to take your baggage slip from Metro staff.
• After your trip and upon receiving your luggage please hand your luggage slip back in to the respective Metro staff for administrative purposes.
• Please make sure that your seat number on your passenger ticket matches with the seat number on your baggage slip.
• Passenger is obligated to demand a baggage slip for each and every piece of luggage that they are travelling with. Metro cannot be held liable or accountable for lost and/or damaged personal property without an official Metro baggage slip.
• Metro cannot be held liable or accountable for undeclared damaged or lost personal property (electronic equipment, jewelry, commercial documents etc.).
• In case of declared lost or damaged personal luggage, Metro is accountable for up to double the amount of the ticket fee.
• Each passenger is entitled up to 30 kg. of luggage. Personal luggages exceeding 30 kg is subjected to flexible extra fees by Metro. Passengers travelling with a bicycle carry-on are entitled up to 20 kg per journey.
• Passenger is strictly forbidden to carry toxic, flamable, explosive or any sort of risky property inside his/her carry-on and/or luggage on board.
• Inside the luggage compartment of the motor coach alongside with proper documentation; sedated domestic animals can travel inside their framed and netted cages free of charge.
• During luggage inspection; passenger will be held accountable minted unauthorized and illegal items found on board.
• Ticket refunds will not be given out due to personal luggages which are not compatible with Metro luggage transportation standards.
• Passengers travelling with a bicycle are entitled a baggage weight limit up to 20 kg on board. Each Metro motor coach has a designated baggage capacity of one to two bicycles depending on the size and class of the respective vehicle.
• During high season and if the coach is fully booked, passengers can switch their tickets with the next scheduled trip in order to travel with the bicycles on board.
