The Passenger Card is a travel program offered by Metro Turizm to its passengers, which provides discounts on the ticket sales price and enables passengers to collect points from the travels they have realised. For example, ticket prices are indicated in your web site as İzmir- Kastamonu 65 TL, however same ticket costs 80 TL in your sales Office. What is the reason of such a difference?

The list price for İzmir – Kastamonu is 80 TL, the online ticket sales price (Membership for Passenger Card Price) is 65 TL. While normal sales are realised with 80 TL, the special price for Metro members is 65 TL. By becoming a member, you can buy your tickets at Metro special price.

Although I have written down the full name and surname of the passenger in your web site I cannot buy a ticket. The system warns me with the surname. Why is that so?

If you enter the T.R. ID number in full and accurately, you will not encounter any problem.

I want to transfer the points in my former Passenger Card to my new Card. How can I get help?

This action can only be performed in our Sales Offices. You can get assistance in any Metro Turizm Sales Office which is close to you.

I have bought my ticket with a credit card, which does not belong to me. Does the owner of the credit card have to get the ticket?

You can get your ticket from our Sales Office, which is closest to you by indicating the reference number as given by our Online Ticket System. Our ticket staff in the Sales Office will control your identity when delivering the ticket and your “T.R. ID number” will be written on your ticket. Tickets are not hand out before identification control.

Do I have to give my T.R. ID number to the ticket sales officer?

In line with clause 48-A of the Regulation on Highway Transportation issued within the scope of the Highway Transportation Law Numbered 4925 of the Ministry of Transportation Maritime and Communication of the T.R., owners of licenses and sales offices have to issue a separate ticket for every passenger during their regular passenger transportations. The information of every passenger (Name-Surname /T.R. ID number) has to be indicated separately. Therefore, it is utmost important for your safety that you use your T.R. ID number within the said process and indicate it to our sales personnel.

Is it possible to make a reservation through your web site and buy in cash the ticket later from your sales offices?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reservation on our online Sales site. For reservation, you can either go the Sales Office, which is close to you or make a reservation from our Call Center having the phone number 0580 222 34 55.

When do I have to convert the e-ticket, which I have bought over the Internet to a normal ticket?

You have to get your ticket, which you purchased online minimum 30 minutes before your departure from the Sales Offices closest to you.

On your online sales site, I can select the journey I want, but I cannot select the seat. Can you help me?

The reason of not being able to select a seat for the journey is that there are no vacant seats available. Try to make a selection in another journey.

What is the CVV?

It is the Security Code consisting of 3 digits, available on the back side of your Credit Card.

I did not receive any information to my e-mail address after the online purchase of the ticket. What should I do?

After the transaction, please control the incoming/spam box of your e-mail, which is registered in the system. If the e-mail has not arrived, you can get support from our Call Center through the number 0850 222 34 55.
